Our Windshield Combination Break Repair Process
Our combination break repair process is a systematic procedure designed to safely restore the structural integrity and clarity of your auto glass. We follow industry best practices to ensure a durable and lasting fix for complex damage.
Inspection and Assessment
Our technician performs a detailed inspection of the combination break. We check its size, depth, and location to confirm it is repairable and not in the driver's direct line of sight.
Clean and Prepare Impact Point
We carefully remove any glass fragments, dirt, or moisture from the fracture. Proper preparation at this stage is essential for a strong resin bond.
Resin Injection and UV Curing
We mount a specialized bridge and injector tool over the impact point, create a vacuum to remove trapped air, then inject premium low-viscosity resin under pressure. The pressure forces the resin deep into every part of the fracture. A UV curing lamp then hardens the resin permanently.
Polish and Final Finish
We scrape away any excess cured resin and polish the surface to a smooth, clear finish. The result is a stabilized break that will not spread.
